This painting was captured in between two prominent piers, accessed via a steep zig zag, making it the most untouched within the mile stretch of sand.
And it was sitting here at this most beautiful sunrise, with a layer of cloud on the horizon, softening all the hues to create a beautiful spectrum of soft colour., that I felt a soothing and softening of my energy being.
I started the painting as soon as I got home and 6 hours later I was almost done. I made final tweeks but it just flowed.
This painting is a reminder of finding that sweet spot of stillness and of peace.
